Swedese has always stood with one foot firmly planted at home in Vaggeryd and the other out in the wider world. an An ambition to be part of something larger—where outside influences have always been allowed to shape its heritage. Even the name Swedese, with its playful mix of Italian, English, and Swedish dream of somewhere far away.
The ORIGIN collection set out to capture and unite the different temperaments that define Swedese. Through both form and function, the collection is linking the company’s rich heritage with its future.
Its sculpted curves could just as easily belong to a cheerful 1950s hotel lobby on Lake Como as to a contemporary home overlooking the Öresund. The proportions strike a careful balance—compact like a Fiat 500, yet generous like a Volvo 740. Detail and expression are handled with the confidence that comes from eighty years of daily experience in woodworking, rooted in the forests of Småland.
Origin is a dream of something bigger—but it could only ever have originated at Swedese, on Formvägen in Vaggeryd.
