Mushroom, Örsjö, 2002
The Mushroom lamp is based on an existing tool for pressing lamp shades. The origin lamp was a replica of a classical art deco design but it showed poor selling figures due to even cheaper imported copies and the expensive tool stood there unused in the workshop.
With a few adjustments the Mushroom lamp was designed as a modern and reduced answer to its clasical predecessor.
The clean constuction play with colour rather than shape and since it was equipped with flourecent lights all parts that is hit by the light were colured red to make the glow warmer.
Mushroom comes in three differnt heights and can today be ordered in various colour combinations.
