Font, Offecct, 2019
A very reduced shape designed to combine comfort, flexibility, lightness and volume. At first sight the sketches looked a bit naive, almost too simple and raw. But the idea caught interest and we started to investigate how little that is needed to still preserve excellent comfort in a seat.
Due to its graphic simplicity the project was named Font and just a a typeface it consists of a number of straight and curved units possible to combine in various characteristic meeting space formations. A furniture created to enhance meetings, spontaneous chats, talks and discussions that was initially designed for the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm as a part of the NM& collection.
