Askul is a Tokyo based mail ordering company that for several years has chosen to do collaborations with Scandinavian designers. The design briefs are almost always aiming for functional everyday objects to furnish the Japanese public environments sold through their thick and heavy catalogue that arrive four times every year. It offers more or less anything you can think of from the very everyday simple to the most refined.
Over the years I have been assigned by Askul to design wall clocks, mobile whiteboards, tables and as shown here: coat hangers, racks and umbrella stands.
