Bod, Kosta Boda, 2023
A joyful and very special design process together with my brother Simon Klenell that took place during that silent, uncertain pandemic year of 2020. Sessions in his Sthlm Glas workshops and my Heleneborgsgatan studio made time pass by a lot faster.
Travels when travels were allowed added excitement and long conversations on the road. Småland, the Swedish Crystal Kingdom became the abroad for a while.
The Bod project is about process on several levels. It is touching relations, work methods, materiality and expression. Somehow that became very visible in thie collection. Decorative bottles in various dimensions where two tempraments meet in one unified yet uncontrolled body.
The collection has been selected a nominee for the 2023 Swedish Design S award.
